Legacoop Emilia Romagna is the eldest organisation that represents cooperatives in the Emilia Romagna region.

It associates 1.500 enterprises in various sectors (industrial, agricultural and services), with more than 2,5 milion members, 156.000 employees and 30 billion euro of production value.

Legacoop Emilia Romagna represents cooperatives in dealing with the authorities, other business organisations and workers’ trade unions.

It promotes start up cooperatives, their establishment and development driving toward innovation and internationalization.

Legacoop promotes the cooperative movement, its values and principles in schools and universities and it ensures that cooperatives comply with the Charter of Values that they subscribe to.
